The Seeker’s Lamp a Poem

The Word of The Divine is a lamp to my feet

And a light on my path when I feel incomplete

It guides me through the darkness and shows me the way

To the truth and guidance that I seek every day

But the lamp is not mine, I must share it with others

Who are also Seekers, the sisters and the brothers

We must be brave and be a lamp unto ourselves

And not hide our light under a bushel or a shelf

The lamp needs fuel to burn through the Night

The fuel is our faith It gives us Hope and Might

We must take care of the lamp and not let it fade

For it is the sign of the covenant we made

We wait for the bridegroom to come in the night

And we know he will find us with our lamps burning bright

He will greet us with grace and invite us to his place

It will be an endless Delight To praise him forever in his light.

The groom has made the Seeker’s Lamp, An Ever-Burning Eternal Light,

That beckons to souls who’ve lost their way and wandered off the path of right.

His Covenant has made it possible, For Man to rise above,

To transcend this mortal body and find Eternal Love.

Through his grace, we can ascend, To a higher plane of life,

Where our souls will live forever, Free from pain and strife.

So let us follow in his footsteps and let his light be our guide,

As we journey towards our destiny, With Fellow Seekers and the Groom By our side.
